My daughter is three years old.
All of a sudden, our family life was frozen in a series. enactments. We swap roles;
Her sister may be Anna one day and Hans the next.
Sometimes I am allowed to be Elsa.
In addition to the stress of being immersed in music, this is an unwelcome aspect --
The effect of my daughter freezing
The frenzy is that she refuses to wear anything but a sparkling purple dress with a photo of Elsa printed on the front of the dress.
My main objection to this ridiculous outfit is
It is suitable for playing.
When she climbs, crawls, and rolls, it gets in the way of her progress.
I refused to wash, stuffed my clothes in the laundry cabinet and talked loudly about the advantages of shorts.
My daughter will start school in two years.
My outlook for school uniforms is as excited as my outlook for frozen clothing.
Thinking of putting my future Fiveyear-
Every day of the week, the old man in the skirt can\'t accept the idea of playing well --
The educational concept based on learning is the ideal choice for kindergarten children.
Dr. Prudence Black agreed.
\"It\'s time to rethink school uniforms, especially in terms of gender,\" said a scholar at the University of Sydney, who completed her PhD in the Department of Gender and Cultural Studies in 2009.
\"Once you get into the school system, one of the first things you have to do is wear a uniform,\" Dr. Black said . \".
\"So through this system, you are quickly divided by gender.
\"The girl in the skirt and the boy in the shorts convey a message to the children that the two girls are very different from each other-which in turn can lead to gender inequality, the number of women from board positions in Australia is relatively small.
Girls in clothes, like boys, are not good for girls who want to run, climb and roll.
\"Uniforms should be very practical;
You have to wear them five days a week and everyone should be able to wear them in a comfortable way, \"explains Dr. black.
\"Young boys wear shorts, why can\'t young girls wear Shorts\" is a fair question.
Shorts will make my life easier at school.
My friends and I have worked very hard in 13 years of school education in order not to let others see our underwear.
In elementary school, on our underwear, we wore a dress we called \"scungies\", so we were basically double --
Later, when we were high school students, we wore men\'s boxing shorts under short skirts every day.
After the fact, all the paleness seemed ridiculous, but for the little girls who spent most of their lunch time hanging upside down in the Monkey Bar, it was a real concern.
Protecting the privacy of underpants is a minor issue, but their gender identity development leads to a more serious uniform problem than the difficulties students face.
\"Gender is not an easy thing for some people, so if someone around you says a girl looks like this, a boy looks like that, Dr. Black said: \"You don\'t feel like it\'s easy to fit into these two categories, which makes your life difficult. \".
\"Being asked to make a decision makes things very complicated.
Dr. Black admitted that although the school is a \"conservative institution\", the school has tried to make school uniforms more versatile for men and women, but school uniforms are still targeted.
Interestingly, the change is student-driven.
Earlier this year, at Newtown Performing Arts High School in inner west Sydney, students launched a campaign to change the school\'s unified policy.
Now, students of any gender status can wear uniforms of boys or girls.
\"Those kids at Newtown Performing Arts High School are definitely rich,\" says Dr. black . \".
\"These kids say, \'Some of us are not easy to fit into these categories and being made to fit them will add to the problems they fit in society.
Dr. Black hopes that their brave role models will bring about a domino effect of change.
I also have a hope-the next Elsa will be a heroine who likes to wear shorts.
Love this story follow the author here: Twitter @ nicheath read this and don\'t call my daughter beautiful in a world where women are judged, evaluated and criticized for their looks, nicola Heath would rather you than praise her daughter\'s appearance.
Just put on your clothes.
What happens when you force a girl to wear a school uniform? This seems to be a simple rule: girls must wear school uniforms on school photo day.
But it\'s not that simple for a girl.
There was trauma all over her face.
